Job Description
Senior Business Advisor required for Accountancy practice in Manchester.
Purpose of the role: To lead audits, assist clients across a diverse portfolio of clients
Principal duties:
Planning, fieldwork and completion of audits for companies of various sizes and in various market sectors including groups. To identify opportunities for cross selling to other departments and liaise with partner with regard to business advice that maybe applicable arising out of the audit. To provide high quality service to the all clients.
Previous audit experience gained in a practice environment Experience of commercial aspects of a business, which can arise from audits Understanding client needs Good working knowledge of Companies Act, FRS's, ISA's, SSAP's and FRSSE Experience of accounts preparation, bank reconciliations. Supervisory experience Experience of IT packages including Excel and Word. Ability to liaise confidently and efficiently with clients Ability to use initiative A team player Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good technical skills experience Ability to lead teams and motivate staff.
