Job Description
Our client, a Burton based Architects, have recently undergone restructure following growth. As a result of the changes a new position has been created reporting to the Finance Director. This new position is seen as a key role in maintaining the integrity of the financial statements and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities - Maintenance of balance sheet - Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts - Ensure the accuracy and timely recording of high volume bank transactions - Assist in preparation of monthly submission to Group finance of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow - Responsibility for maintenance of Fixed Asset Register - Assist in preparation of annual budgets - Work closely with other areas to improve processes
Requirements: - As a part-qualified Accountant, preferably studying for CIMA/ACCA - Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner - Capable of liaising effectively at all levels - Ability to act in a proactive manner
