Job Description
AAT Bookkeeper with previous experience in practice
£25000 + 20 days hol, private medical (incl dependents), death in service life assurance, PHI, pension, free parking
Hours 9-5

Supporting the Audit office the Bookkeeper will have 2-3 years previous experience working in accountancy practice, AAT to 3rd level minimum, previous bookkeeping experience, Sage Line 50, and not wish to continue study to ACCA/ACA level.

Duties will include sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank and VAT reconciliations, credit control, preparation of VAT returns, using of SAGE Line 50 assisting clients with bookkeeping and year end queries, some preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies including preparation of tax computations, payroll experience (desirable - not essential). 80% of the role will be bookkeeping 20% preparation of year end accounts. The ideal Bookkeeper will feel confident to work on their own and to a certain extent be prepared to 'hit the road running'.

Successful candidates will receive a response within 3 days - candidates need to have part or fully AAT qualified, 2-3 years practice experience and bookkeeping experience to be considered.
