Are you a banking treasury, liquidity or balance sheet accountant looking to expand your experience into risk management? If so, these roles could be interesting for you.
Our client is a global markets business and part of the worlds largest banking group by assets. The bank is about to enter a period of growth, backed by an impressive balance sheet and capital base.
Two opportunities have arisen within its liquidity finance function - the function is responsible for all liquidity governance, reporting and control, as well as oversight of liquidity stress testing, internal MI production, ILAA production, liquidity systems management and liquidity policy.
The roles are both at the Senior AVP/Junior VP level - the first role is focused predominantly on the management and oversight of liquidity stress testing, with some involvement in the annual ILAA refresh and also the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the liquidity risk and reporting system. The second role is focused mainly on the production of liquidity MI for Senior Management, treasury and front office, producing useful and meaningful decks, using this to tell the liquidity story. The role will also have involvement in stress testing and the ILAA.
Candidates will come from similar backgrounds. An accounting qualification is essential and candidates will not be considered without this. Prior experience within balance sheet or liquidity reporting, ideally focused on MI would be very useful, and a knowledge of the Assets and Liabilities found on a banks balance sheet is essential. General finance experience within treasury/liquidity with a desire to develop skills outside of this will also be considered a plus.
