An excellent opportunities exists at the Analyst level within the regulatory reporting function of one of the largest financial institutions in the world.
The team is involved in RWA reporting for the whole of the corporate and investment bank, and you will have the responsibility of overseeing and managing the preparation of various internal and external returns and RWA MI reports, large exposures, leverage ratio, RWA,balance sheet. Your main responsibilities will involve; production of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual management and prudential regulatory reporting information along with associated commentaries:
· production of capital adequacy, large exposures, leverage ratio, RWA and other relevant reports. · production of internal management reports to the business areas in support of capital optimisation initiatives. . contributing to the production of the annual Pillar 3 report · ensuring the appropriate control framework is in place to deliver accurate and timely external and internal reporting information, support the financial control change management team to deliver defined target operating architecture.
In order to successfully apply for this position you will possess, a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a business/ finance related subject and will ideally be a fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA. You will have prior experience working in the regulatory reporting function of another financial institution, either in group or divisional finance. Alternatively, you may have qualified in practice and have experience of regulatory audits or spent time in consulting. Candidates who have worked in mid-tier firms who are looking to step into a bulge bracket will also be considered. Strong interpersonal skills and a strong knowledge of the relevant technical standards ie COREP, CRDIV
