I am currently recruiting for a high profile Energy company looking to hire a VAT Assistant within their Tax Department.
This will be a Group level position allowing the ideal candidate oversight of a multinational business. Key tasks within the role will include:
Assist the Senior VAT Specialist with preparation/submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns. Assist with VAT Controller General Ledger Accounts. Assist with the preparation and submission to HMRC. Interact with the wider Finance Teams and IT to understand financial transactions.
Core competences will include: Good IT skills in particular use of excel. Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines. Speak and write in fluent English. Have good interpersonal skills and thrive in an international environment A good knowledge of SAP
