The Financial Controller is responsible for all hotel accounting and financial controls, under functional guidance of the Corporate Controller, within the policies and procedures, according to Corporate policies and procedures, and according to local requirements and regulations. In addition, the job incumbent controls the overall hotel costs by managing the purchasing function. The function should be proactive, analysing, and recommending alternative action in every respect, and operate in line with hotel and corporate policies and guidelines, and the hotel's business plan.
Supervision and management of the accounts office to ensure that the functions of accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and purchasing are accurately and efficiently operated; Production of annual statutory accounts in conjunction with external auditors; Ensure all legal, regulatory and tax returns are in respect with the local legislation; Annual Budget, Monthly Forecast and P&L Report and variance analysis Company cash flow forecasting and managing Daily Banking and monthly reconciliation Prepare and issue SOPs across all the relevant departments, ensuring adequate and appropriate financial controls and performing periodic checks
MUST have Hotel (Hospitality) experience 5+ years of FC experience or FM Audit experience preferred Degree in Business Administration or Finance Knowledge & exposure of accounting packages Fluent German, Italian, French, Spanish, preferred but not essential
