This is a Management Accounting opportunity working within the Trading arm/Retail division for an excellent Charity in central London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts and associated management information, as well as ad hoc reporting and projects.
You will need to be able to produce high quality and comprehensive financial management, reporting, advice and business analysis support to assist the Retail Division achieve financial and strategic objectives.
Other Responsibilities include:
*Budgeting, as well as improve forecasting and budgeting process and performance analysis, *Consolidate, review and challenge of annual divisional budgets, *Monitor and report divisional results against budget and forecasts, *Provide financial support for projects undertaken by the Retail divisions, *Provide support, advice and financial training to budget holders, *Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the income and expenditure recorded, *Provide financial support for evaluation, and pricing to support new initiatives.
This is a role suitable for a qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc). It is highly desirable that the ideal candidate will have experience working with charities, although this is not essential.
Start date: ASAP (Candidates with immediate availability ideally, or with 1 weeks notice). Duration: 7 months contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.
