This Finance Business Partner role supports the Revenue Management leadership team and department, providing analytics, insight and cost control across this key Commercial investment areas.
Revenue Management has a significant capital budget in the Business Plan period with a change agenda of more than ten projects over this period that look to enhance revenue management systems to drive greater revenue. The Finance Business Partner will see there is cross over on many of these projects with other Commercial areas as changes in selling approach often having inter-dependencies elsewhere. These projects drive sizeable revenue benefits.
The Finance Business Partner role will be heavily integrated into the build and tracking of these investment cases, which involves understanding and challenging IT & Commercial costs required, ensuring that spend is within budget and that revenue benefits are tracked and understood to a high level of detail, and reflected accurately in the Commercial revenue submission.
Managing the business case portfolio will involve working closely with the line area and other departments, including Band 1 stakeholders to help shape the future strategies and deliver the tangible revenue benefits to the business.
